Are dark suits always best for business? I like bright ties to liven up traditional dark suits. Any colors/patterns I should avoid?

I do not think dark suits are the only option for a business enviroment.
Bright colors are so "IN" right now!!! I like to contrast a "dull" color on a shirt and then kick it up with a bright/contrasting color on the tie.
And as long as you avoid these, you'll be fine :D

Everyone dresses so casually where I live, if you wore a "power suit" you would look silly and stick out like a sore thumb. I'm pretty happy to not have to worry about looking "snappy".
Easy insurance quotes for casual dressers my specialty. :-) |

Which part of the US are you from? The weather has been so hot here in New York I've been wearing cotton khaki's and a white dress shirt, unless I'm visiting a client. BTW, welcome to the forum!
